. The Balneario de La Concha is one of the most recognisable symbols of Los Alcázares and a true emblem of the Mar Menor’s tourist tradition. This traditional wooden structure and platform built over the sea was once used as a changing area and as an access walkway for bathing. Located above the calm waters of La Concha Beach, this historic bathhouse recalls the time when visitors from all over Spain came attracted by the therapeutic properties of its waters. Today, in addition to its heritage and scenic value, it has become a privileged place for strolling, enjoying the sea breeze and admiring some of the most beautiful views of the Mar Menor. It offers an excellent viewpoint from which to contemplate the coastline of Los Alcázares, as well as spectacular sunrises and sunsets by the sea.
