Paseo Real de la Feria • 30710 LOS ALCÁZARES
The Paseo Real de la Feria, popularly known as the Paseo de la Feria, is one of the most iconic landmarks in Los Alcázares. This historic pedestrian boulevard runs through the heart of the town, linking the urban centre with Manzanares Beach and serving as a meeting place for both residents and visitors. Its origins are closely linked to the historic August Fair, promoted in 1863 by Mariano Fontes, Marquis of Ordoño, with the aim of encouraging the area's economic and social development. For many decades, the avenue hosted traditional fairground stalls and attractions, becoming the centre of local festive and commercial life. Today, the Paseo de la Feria retains its historical character and remains one of the town's main thoroughfares, inviting visitors to discover an essential part of Los Alcázares' heritage while enjoying its lively atmosphere and proximity to the Mar Menor.
