The Wall Balcony is witness to important historical events such as the bloody take-over of the town by Abi-I-Hassan and his troops from Granada wich gave the town its motto found on the crest: "For crossing the birdge they gave un death". The town was sacked and its inhabitants made prisoners. This Balcony was completed in 1898.
