Information

The Maritime Museum belongs to the Fishermen’s Guild and is the only building in the Mar Menor region dedicated to the art of fishing. It displays a wide variety of collections, including sea shells, fish teeth, mollusc shells, miniatures of fishing gear typical of the Mar Menor (such as the ‘encañizadas’ from Punta de Algas), collections of knots and nautical charts, and so on.

ALL YEAR ROUND

Tuesday to Saturday, 9.30 am to 1.30 pm. 

Closed on Mondays, Sundays and public holidays.

HOLY WEEK

Holy Tuesday, Holy Wednesday and Holy Saturday: 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.

Maundy Thursday and Good Friday: from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm.
