Information
The museum preserves and exhibits the remains of the medieval culture found in the municipal term of Calasparra and its surroundings, from the Palaeolithic to the Muslim culture of the 13th century. The museum has almost 700 objects related to Archaeology and Natural Sciences. Within the archaeological collection, the Islamic findings of the archaeological site of Villavieja are particularly noteworthy. There are plenty of fossils and minerals in the Natural Sciences collection.
