Information
The Las Salinas Visitor Centre offers an introduction to the natural, cultural and social values of the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro Regional Park, with the aim of raising visitors’ awareness and making the conservation of the natural environment more effective. To this end, it offers:
Reception service. To provide personalised advice on what to see and how to access the Protected Natural Area.
Interpretation rooms. Two rooms, one dedicated to the Mar Menor and the other to the Regional Park, both of which are currently being developed into museum spaces.
Screening room. The centre has two audiovisual presentations to help visitors discover the Salinas y Arenales de San Pedro del Pinatar Regional Park, its fauna, flora and history. One is a short film lasting approximately 8 minutes, whilst the other is a longer presentation lasting 23 minutes. English subtitles are available. Maximum capacity: 30 people.
Guided tour service. This offers a variety of tours of the Regional Park, during which a guide makes stops to provide explanations that help visitors interpret the natural environment in an engaging and interactive way. The service is available to the general public, schools, associations, organised groups and other non-profit organisations.

SUMMER (15 June to 15 September):
Closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Thursday: 8.30 am to 3.00 pm. Friday and Saturday: 8.30 am to 3.00 pm and 4.00 pm to 5.30 pm. Sunday and public holidays: 8.30 am to 3.00 pm.
WINTER (16 September to 14 June):
Closed on Mondays. Tuesday to Saturday: 9.00 am to 2.00 pm and 3.00 pm to 5.30 pm. Sundays and public holidays: 9.00 am to 2.00 pm and 2.30 pm to 3.30 pm.
* Centre closures in 2026: every Monday (except 12 October and 7 December); 1 and 6 January, 2 April, 1 May, and 24, 25 and 31 December. Closed for staff training on 7 and 8 May and 18 December.
